jp1gt
Still going through stuff I got from my Dad after his passing. I found a bunch of these in a drawer that was filled with hot glue sticks. He did high end upholstery on cars for a while. Just curious what they were used for--

jp1gt
Also, they are rounded at one end. The reason for mentioning upholstery
roysboystoys
Maybe for stuffing pleats?
trimacar
Too short for stuffing pleats, note pencil for size reference. He may have used then as “regulators”, if one is stuffing cotton or horsehair into button tufting, for example, one needs something to move stuffing around. jp1gt
David, from your handle you know about upholstery, thank you. You are probably right. I used to come to Poway and help him stuff the horse hair in the seats when his hands could not do it anymore. I just remember the big wheel on the sewing machine instead of a motor to space the stitches perfectly. I have learned a lot of skills working on my 29 cad restoration but upholstery would be a little bit of a stretch for me--
