Leif in Calif
I thought this was a really nice looking speedster and I was thinking you could replace the modern engine with a '28 Chevy and get rid of the Stutz emblem. I spoke to the seller...turns out the only items that are '28 Chevy are the rear axle (which is one of Chevy's weakest links) and the registration. It's a '53 Chevy truck chassis but with a different front axle without brakes (Chevy was 4 wheel in '28) . Too bad as it sure looks nice. https://galveston.craigslist.org/cto/7564771552.html 1928 Chevrolet Speedster with a body that looks like a Stutz Bearcat. Has a 1980's 1.9 liter Chevrolet/Isuzu motor. No fiberglass or plastic. (409) 354-8727
Fossil
It is a sweet looking car but what a conglomeration of parts.
Angelfish
I'd love to pick this up minus the engine and transmission, for maybe 25% of the asking price. Neat looking car.
