Dave Henderson
Marked on back "Smiths Motor Accessories Limited, England", this Gauge is 2 1/2" in diameter with the chrome bezel projecting 1 1/4". The outer background is black, inner is light blue. Fuzzy number looks like 08119, may not be accurate or complete. Please identify. Available. Dave Henderson
Thanks Terry. Can anyone zero in farther on this?
1912Staver
I would guess this was used in a everyday sedan model. Most of the British Sports Cars used more basic , black gauge faces, with white numbers and needle. . This one tries to look " fancy " rather than the usual no nonsense Smiths gauge that the sports cars used . I have seen somewhat similar gauges on early 1960's Volvo's.
