Tewwillis
Will needs parts for my 49 Chrysler Windsor I just bought. Need a referral for a good dealer with dependable parts: electric fuel pump, wiper motor (for 6 volt, flat head 6), heater controls and heater fan(s) to start. Many Thanks T
Akstraw
Here are one guy’s thoughts on your question: Andy Bernbaum’s is the go-to place for old Mopar parts, though may not have the specific things you mention. Your Windsor did not come with an electric fuel pump, so that will be an aftermarket item, perhaps from Summit Racing or even your local NAPA store. You may not find new replacements for your wiper motor and heater fan, but there may be specialists out there that rebuild them. Hemmings Motor News is a good source for such specialists. You might also get good leads on things like that by joining the WPC Club (for Walter P. Chrysler). Unless they are totally missing, I would expect the your heater controls just need some freeing up and reconditioning. Good luck! I think the ‘49 Windsor is an attractive and sturdy car.
