John N. Packard
Bruce, I think we receive it in April with a May deadline to respond. I missed the deadline several years ago, so it is probably a good idea to promptly return the form to National.jnp
R W Burgess
John, You should be getting my newsletter tomorrow. I put a little jab in there about you. I'm curious to know if you got an application from California? I'm waiting for my newsletter contest info myself. Wayne
JanK
Starting last year (I think) the info for the newsletter contest was included as a section on the officer reporting form submitted by the secretary. Less paperwork going to national. You may want to check with your secretary to make sure your info has been entered appropriately, and more importantly, submitted. I think that form was due March 1st, but don't quote me! Jan K.Wis Region
novaman
I checked with my Mom who is our region's secretary. The officer reporting form submitted by the secretary did include an area for publication name, Frequency of publishing and editor's name, address, and email. It was due March 1st. John N. Packard
Wayne, Yes, we received the application from the individual in California and he is now a member of the region. The Northern Neck'n News goes to our circulation manager, so I'll check with him to see your jab! It was good to see Vogel and Ashburn at our flea market a few weeks ago.jnp
R W Burgess
Yea, John, those guys get out more than I do. I sent a letter to our friend out west, so I'm anxious to get his reply. Oh!, sorry to screw up your post Bruce. Sometimes I can't help myself. Wayne

JanK
Now I'm confused. Is there separate paperwork for the newsletter contest or is it included on the Officer Reporting Sheet?Jan K.Wis Region
Guest BruceW
Jan,The paperwork I received.. and assume everyone else did.. was the same forms that we have been receiving in the past. This included the cover letter with the names and addresses of the Newsletter Committee and the criteria that the committee looks for... plus the form to fill out with the newsletter vital information where the white copy goes to Jeanne Smith and the yellow copy goes to the Publication VP (Sherman Carey this year). The deadline to mail the forms is May 15.
JanK
Sure enough, we got our paperwork in the mail yesterday. I've already filled it out and it will be sent back in today's mail. Less chance to lose it if I do it right away!Jan K.Wis Region
perfect1
Once again I am scrambling this year to find the Editor's contest form to send in so that our club can be entered in the newsletter contest. This is just an idea, but what about having this form available online so that we could just fill in the blanks and e-mail it to Jeanne?
