Littlestown Mike
Just asking before I need to know-- What if I repaint a car not to its original color as identified on the Manufacturer's data Plate? Assuming the repaint is done well and using the correct type of paint ( lacquer/ enamel etc) and the color was one that the manufacturer offered. How many points on average would be deducted? dalef62
As long as it is painted a color that was available for that make/model for that year there is no point deduction.
Terry Bond
Details are in the AACA Judging Guidelines available on the AACA website. There is also a separate forum here for judging if you have any other questions. Terry
TTR
I assume OP is asking in reference to AACA judging guidelines, to which others have already provided answers for, but in “general”, governing bodies of different clubs, events, etc often have their own and may not always be same.
