Mike Albers
Recently purchased this, I'm the 3rd owner... second was going to restore it and started blowing it apart, luckily everything is bagged and tagged. 47000 documented original miles... unfortunately someone stripped it down to bare metal and painted it black in 78, of which most has fallen off... but hey, at least the Ludington green is gone. Runs and drives, stopping is optional, ended up with a spare complete running engine (with single carb intake) and trans. Interior is complete original and in great shape minus the headliner... guy number 2 towed it on a trailer for 3hrs with no windshield. My idea is to just put it back together and see what I have.... Question #1 do I have to have the dash in to install the windshield? I also have questions about the shift linkage... which is just hanging right now. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions.
Matt Harwood
Windshield can go in without the dash. Dash is totally separate and can be installed later.

neil morse
Welcome, Mike! You have chosen an excellent automobile. You might want to take a peek at my thread in the "Me and My Buick" forum. Depending on what's in store for your car, I think you will find some helpful information there.
