I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1938 Hupmobile Six Model E 4dr Sedan, 1,890 built, Project.

Note: The 1938-'39 Hupmobile Six Model E and Eight Model H were the last complete cars that Hupmobile developed on their own.  The bodies were supplied by Hayes Body Co.  Surprising that this body still has the wood, mesh and fabric top insert, not all-steel.

I think that these are great looking cars. Such nice lines. Even to the end, Hupps had great style. I've seen worse dash plastics -- the tenite is always bad in these, but it would always be in my line of view. It's a shame about the interior. It looks like it didn't have to be ruined if someone had dealt with the roof earlier. Tenite, by the way, was the name for the celluslose-based plastics.
