Crusty Trucker
"Parts is parts". Might make a neat pickup or wrecker conversion. I could also see shortening it two or three feet to make it into a one-of-a-kind SUV. IMHO, the asking price is way out there. (wishin' and a hopin' ... ) Real money-pit project, but maybe fun. bryankazmer
Interesting car - the 23rd series side trim is I think a later addition. The data plate and other stuff say 22nd series senior chassis - should be a 356 engine. That missing back glass will be a chore.
Joe Cocuzza
" This car has been sitting in the same spot for about 45 years" Probably will be sitting in the same spot for the next 45 years, too.
Leif in Calif
The POST 125 makings make me think Veteran's organization, but that seem very inappropriate!

Could have been some sort of display vehicle, parade car, or other attraction in a light-hearted vein at one time. I'm surprised the hood ornament survived all those years.
Tailfins Forever
Did anyone notice the RED '57 or '58 Eldorado Biarritz Convertible .. across the aisle off to the LH FRONT of this Packard ? its only visible in the background of the Packard's passenger side. Its not quite as rare as a Packard Hearse ...but a bit more desirable even as a parts car.
