Yellow1301
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/d/san-francisco-1954-studebaker-champion/7503092488.html Here is a very original 1954 Studebaker Champion Deluxe Starlight Coupe. It has a 3-speed manual transmission and an excellent running original 6 cylinder engine. Brakes are good, clutch is good as is suspension and steering. Interior is in above average condition but does need carpet. Body has some rust underneath but floorboards and trunk are mostly solid. Paint looks good from 20 feet but close up is fair with cracking in various areas, chrome is very good, tires are good. Needs a new wiring harness. Car runs and drives but several wires are missing(no lights). A complete wiring harness sells for around $400 from various Studebaker vendors. These cars are getting harder to find in original untouched shape like this one. Car is located in San Francisco, CA This is a great deal for the right person!! $6000/FIRM 415 six five two-3926 Edited July 2, 2022 by Yellow1301 (see edit history)
Joe Cocuzza
I'll say it again. From what is visible in the pictures (rust holes in the drivers side floor / plenty of patches in the pass side floor) I would look very carefully at the underside of this car if I was interested. Also, check the rockers and the area(s) under the front fender vents. Those areas were notorious for rotting out 1
Rivguy
These cars are really good looking. The earlier cars are so much cleaner. I would prefer this to a later finned Hawk or GT hardtop. This is the type of car that you have to check out carefully in person. Extensive rust would make this suitable for only a professional body man.
