redhawk45
I am new to the forum. I need someone's expertise or experience in selecting the appropriate replacement window channel, weather stripping for my 78, Buick Estate Wagon. I have been searching and cruising for the correct rubber to no avail. Thanks🙂 Edited June 25, 2022 by redhawk45 (see edit history)
NailheadBob
Have you tried Steele rubber products? If you scroll down to the Buick section Post-War a lot of knowledge on Buicks. Â please post a photo of what your looking for, and a detailed description of what is needed, door jamb weather stripping? window rubber run channel? belt strip? rocketraider
If it isn't specifically listed for the Buick Estate Wagon search for the same piece under full-size Chevrolet wagon. Except for taillights and Division-specific trim, all 77-90 full-size GM wagons are identical from the firewall back. Â The only weatherstrip piece that might be iffy to find is the tailgate window beltline seal. I haven't looked for it in a few years. It may be available now. Joe Cocuzza
This is what Steele lists but I would give them a call  https://www.steelerubber.com/search?year=1978&make=buick&model=estate-wagon&style=4-door-wagon-2-seat
