Leif in Calif
Really a nice example of a very usable and pretty car, but probably about $12K higher than it should be (and I'm trying to be nice, being an Old Chevy person) https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d/modesto-1932-chevy-cabiolet/7485797497.html A beautiful 1932 Chevrolet Cabriolet. This car is in very good condition as you can see. It shows extremely well. It is all Chevy steal and all 32 parts except for a new gas tank. I have the original tank as well.It has a new rebuilt carburetor, distributor and fuel pump.It has new points, plugs and condenser and fuel gauge. All gauges work except for mileage odometer, needs new cable I think. This car is pristine no rust. The paint is good to very good. The interior and canvas top are also very good. The Chevrolet Cabriolet has roll up windows so you can drive it year round and everyone loves the rumble seat. Mark Huston
For those of you wondering, the asking price is $44,950 and the car is located in Modesto, CA.
jukejunkie1015
"The Chevrolet Cabriolet has roll up windows so you can drive it year round and everyone loves the rumble seat." I last rode in a rumble seat when I was 19 and barely fit in one then. The driver possibly likes it for a place to put squabbling kids or mother in laws plus the added bonus of the higher risk killing them. Probably only marginally safer inside the car but can't say "Everyone loves the rumble seat"!
Leif in Calif
Back on the market 9 months later and now $37,950 (still probably $10K high). Plus they now say it's a Hot Rod (not doing themselves any favors calling this car that. ) If it were a '32 Ford in this condition that price would be "in there". https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d/modesto-1932-chevy-cabiolet-hot-rod/7578820463.html (209) 918-3187 1
Leif in Calif
This is starting to seem like a reasonable deal! https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d/modesto-1932-chevy-cabriolet/7722928766.html One of the best looking models in the 1932 year. The cabriolet has real glass roll up windows for better winter driving. This car had an early 2000's restoration and is totally rust free. It comes with the new six cylinder overhead valve engine with three speed manual transmission with syncro-mesh second and third gear. It is all original with the classic rumble seat and spare tire on back. The car runs like new with all the right equipment. All gauges work as they should. I installed a new gas tank and fuel pump but I have the old ones that will go with the car. I am moving and would rather not have to haul a car. THE FIRST BID OVER 26,000.00 GETS THIS CAR. This car is in great condition. Come see it. (209) 918-3187
Fossil
I'd like to know for sure the wood in the body is solid before going to look at it.
