1930 Buick Model 47 Fuel Tank

Hello I Have a 1930 Buick Model 47 In Need of a Fuel Tank   Can Anyone Tell Me If a 1932 Buick Fuel Tank Is The Same?  Looking At The Pictures Sent to Me It looks Like The One I Have.  Also Where Can I Get One Or Have One Made?  Thanks Dave  Located In Evansville IN

You would need whoever has the 32 tank to send you measurements. If it measures up, and the fill and fuel line fitting is in the right spot, run with it. Dandy Dave!

Just about any metal fab shop could do it.  Post your location so others can help.

Sent your concern to a 30's Buick expert.  The Buick Heritage Association library is located in the AACA Library and has a wealth of technical data.

From a Buick restorer:  

At least two different size fuel tanks were used, depending on series of car . I believe 1930/31 should be interchangeable IF series is same.  For example, the largest tank was used on 1930 50/60 series, and also on 1931 80/90 series.

Most economical solution is to get a tank reconditioned.  That will cost a quarter the cost of a new one.
