Judes 30U
Is there a later model fuel pump that will work on a 31 model 30U? I am thinking about going with a low volume electric fuel pump since the originals are so rare and expensive. Also, will a Ford grill shell fit around an original Plymouth 30U radiator? I live in central Louisiana and it seems like most of the Model 30U parts are up in the Northeast United States. The same with master cylinders. I have a barrel type and can only find the more rectangular type listed for a ‘31.
Judes 30U
My rear spring hangers are out of sorts also. I was able to find an original hood, radiator, and fuel tank in Florida this week. Does anyone have any closeup pictures of how the radiator and hood are mounted? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can provide. My car needs pretty much everything. ArticiferTom
Here some info on your hangers . WOKR offers repros . https://www.wokr.org/library/Tryon.pdf . I have a later production fuel pump for sale the is rebuild with new ethanol proof diaphragm . PM me if interested . Your brake master is rebuildable for about 20 bucks NAPA parts . However if insides are rusted will need to be sent out to sleeve . Also your missing reservoir can ( pricey ) and drop tube .

keiser31
I use this and mount it near the tank on my 1931 Dodge Brothers coupe. I also use a pancake style fuel regulator. ArticiferTom
Glad you got messaging figured out . Your hood hangs from it center rod . from a two hole strap on cowl and on radiator shell the radiator one has a threaded hole to mount the heavier shell support rod to face of cowl also .
