Dodgedude37
I need to see a pic of a door stop on a 37 dodge truck or comparable. the door needs to be open of course. I did not have any originally, I purchased a new set with no instructions. I need to know which way they face. Mark Gregush
My logic says the 2ed photo. As the door opens, the rubber stop would stay more or less flat against the door.
36humpback
Mine is a 36, but looks close enough. It looks like you don't have all the parts. Here are 4 pictures of the one on my panel and one pic of the replacement ones I got from Vic's dodge Garage (Google his web page) He is outside of Corvallis. I've saved a lot in shipping by going and getting my stuff. The rubber parts are screwed inside of the door. The arms go from the inside of the door to the bracket welded on the inside of the pillar. The arms are hooked up the the bracket with cotter keys. (If i remember correctly. I haven't gotten to installing them yet.) Hope this helps. The old left side pillar bracket is bent in the pics. trini
That rubber doughnut goes inside the door. You will have to remove the panel and install from inside. Those 3 holes are for adjusting the the distance the door will open, How wide opening required.
Dodgedude37
Just to follow up, they only fit & work one way. Trial & error solved my question. The second pic is correct. Thanks all.
