Justinlb
Just bought my very first model T. It's a 1918 touring, it needs some tlc but it runs and drives great. I have a few questions about it: Aren't the wheels supposed to be black? Where are the convertible straps supposed to attach to? There's a rear red running light, did this year originally come with one?

41 Su8
Wheels should be black, top straps would be short and fasten to a figure 8 loop attached to the windshield. Tail light with red lens is correct. This would be kerosene lamp. Spare should be mounted on rear of car. Demountable clinchers are correct for tires, but spare would not have wheel attached to it. It should be just rim and tire mounted to the spare tire bracket at rear of car. John
cudaman
If you haven't already, check out the MTFCA forum, it is very active. A good way to search through old MTFCA posts is by using Google, just include the letters MTFCA in your search string, like this: what oil to use mtfca
