john hess
Hello and thanks to all who have responded to my many questions over the years.. I am happy to report that a recent trip to Wisconsin from Pennsylvania was a success. This was my first 'official' showing of my 53 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe 4 door... Another member is sharing his adventures to the same outing, from the other coast, so I won't take that from him. I must also mention that this was my first attempt at a restoration of this magnitude. (8 years). It has been a fun and rewarding experience in many ways. I guess what I am saying in part, to anyone, is get those cars out there and drive them...!! That's why we fix them in the first place.... Again, thanks to all who have contributed. Your knowledge is invaluable and I am forever grateful. They are never really 'finished' are they?...... just the beginning of another journey !!!. RussJagoau
Nice Car John, and one that you can be proud of from your efforts. The 53 is the pick of the shapes i think from that era and they do drive well. Great job ! 2
