bearestir
I need to replace the that holds the fan blade in place on a 1932 Buick Model 50 with a Straight 8. I can't find the part, but frankly I am not sure what the part is called so that may be the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Robert Engle
Let me know which pieces you need. from the attached photo, you can see the stud that threads into the cylinder head. Then you have the arm that goes from the stud to the shaft that hold the fan hub and the fan blade attaches to the hub. Inside the hub is an oil pump gear that lubricates the bushing that the hub spins on. I do have some spare parts for this assembly. Str8-8-Dave
The only name reference I could find in the 1931 Buick Specifications and Adjustments manual is "fan hub". It is more appropriately described IMHO as a fan pulley and hub assembly.
