airbrush Posted July 8, 2021 Share Posted July 8, 2021 Hi I have a 1925 chevrolet with the 171 engine the cam has around 1 inch of backward movement which doesnt seem right does it have a spacer /washer on both ends of the cam or just at the front? I don’t own a 1925 Chev but own a couple of 26’s and 27’s I know there are quite a few differences but the both 26 and 27 use a thrust washer that have 1 or 2 screws that retain both is at the cam.
