Oldtech Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 Put the gaps in the corners. Ok it's round, so put one compression ring at 2 o clock position, and the other at 8 o clock. Then put the oil ring gaps at 10 and 4 o clock. Don't put the gaps directly above the pin or at 90 degrees, which puts a gap on the thrust side. All positions are approximate.
