Hukah
Hello. Being an old bike enthusiast, I recently bought this "light housing" listed as for a 40's/50's bicycle. It is en route as of yet so I do not have physical possession to fit it up. My bike group "gurus" insist that it isn't for a bicycle; the arc is too small for a bicycle fender. I have to admit that it does present a small arc in the photos. So what do ya'll think? Is it bike or car? Who's right? I also have a 1978 Triumph Spitfire. It's not a big collectable but it's a lot of fun to drive
Guest
Seems a little long but maybe a vintage truck clearance light or maybe taxi side roof light?
Mark Wetherbee
Truck clearance light is my opinion too...
Douglas Gilmore Brown
I think it was mounted on the top of the headlight pod of a late 1940's Chevrolet truck, to hold the turn signal. I had a pair of these about 15 years ago.
TerryB
Look at the top of a headlight on a 1946 Chevy pickup truck, sure looks a lot like your item.
