amygrisak
Hello! I am working on a book on historical Yellowstone, and there are a number of photos with the vehicles of the day. I know the buildings and the thermal areas, but these are throwing me! (And I never knew there were so many companies building cars at the time, so it's been quite an education.) This is a photo from 1925 on the road that leads to the east entrance of the park. After researching, I think it's a 1924 Dodge Brothers of some sort, but I would love to hear the thoughts of you who are far more knowledgeable! Thanks so much! franklinman
It’s definitely not a Dodge Brothers vehicle. It might be an Oakland from the mid-twenties from what I can make out though.
amygrisak
Ahh! Thank you! And yet another model I never knew existed. I will take a look.
28 Chrysler
Look at early 1920s Nash also.
amygrisak
Thank you! I better check into that, too!
TheMoneyPit
I like the Oakland going by the Shape of its emblem. It was a GM car that would eventually be dropped in favor of its companion model which was the Pontiac.
