Vintage Ambulance 🚑 Identification?

Definitely one of the commercial Studebaker cars, and a great photo!

 

I had a bronze sign once that said “Funeral” on one side and “Ambulance” on the other with two pins so it could be placed in holes just above the front headliner Making one of these do double duty... It was bought for a Henny but came from a Studebaker guy.

The body would be built by Superior Coach, they had a good relationship with Studebaker and offered the professional cars through regular dealers. 

And yes, that would be genuine leaded glass in the rear windows.  😲
