Seller's Description:

1959 Pontiac Catalina Convertible. Single Family Ownership Since New! True Time Capsule! The car is 90% original except for the convertible top and a repainted drivers side front fender. The fender was repainted after a garage incident in the 1980's. The remainder of the paint and interior appear to be completely original. The car is powered by the original 389 C.I. V8. The color is the rare color Royal Amethyst and the interior is black and white vinyl. The mileage listed is believed to be correct. All gauges appear to work as they should. The car runs, drives and stops. It was used in a parade last summer. Paperwork and documentation going back to 1959 can be viewed. The car does have some rust in the trunk and the rockers. Pre-purchase inspections are recommended. Please message me for more photos or any questions. The car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks for looking.

The original buyers went from a 1956 Buick Special 4 dr ht, to this Pontiac conv.

In the GM price and status structure, I'm wondering if they moved up? down? or sideways . . . .?
