DLynskey
How about 1928 Chevrolet? Look at the top. The top fabric on the subject auto ends at a molding running across the top at the rear edge of the back side windows like the Chevrolet. The Whippet has the fabric all the way to the rear of the car ending in a horizontal molding. The Chevrolet also has the vertical raised molding on the rear. I don't know about the Whippet. It also could be any of a dozen or so other makes. The styling with the two side moldings was used in 1927-1928 by the Fisher body company who made bodies for a number of manufacturers. Stude17
Good matchup with the Chevrolet. I believe you are spot on.
