jrbartlett
One of my coworkers has transmission fluid leaks on his '57 Bel-Air with Powerglide. What are the typical sources?
Dave39MD
I read on the VCCA site that the Powerglides might leak if they sit for a long time and the converter drains and over fills the pan. Might be something to it. Dave
a sell
The thing about the powerglides is that you want to be at the very bottom mark of the dipstick, not all the way full. Seems that at the full mark it will leak past the converter seal and leave a pool under your car every time.
