Another 1929 Chrysler 65

Managed to pick up another model 65, a Tourer this time so I'll guess it's time to roll up the sleeves and start working on the old girl.

Looks to be mostly complete which is good. Is it one of the 71 officially made in Detroit, or is it bodied by an outside supplier (in Australia)? This is how far I came with mine back in 1983, parts are since been dispersed on a number of other cars.

No suicide doors and no electric fuel level sender??

But she's a model 65 so has ALL the mod cons like a fuel gauge and a working sender unit.

Haven't  found any makers tags on the car so will have to do some research to try and workout where the body came from.

So the '29 series 65 has the sender unit on the rhs of the tank not the middle like a series 62.
