Coat Hook / Hand Strap? 1937 GM Pontiac Replacement

Hello,

Unsure exactly what they are called, I have 3 coat hooks with a fabric hand strap part.. looking to replace the Leather / Canvas part.. any options? The ring is 1" outside diameter, apx 4 mil thick..

 

Can someone make a set of 3?

Any place that repairs luggage or even an old time shoemaker should be able to make them.  You just need to find the material.

Over the years restoring some of my Cords, I needed to have robe straps made and went to one of the oldest saddle and bridle manufacturers in Hartford Ct. and they were able to make what ever I neeeded.

I just had a set made from matching cloth windlacing material with a cotton webbing inside to help keep the shape.The inner liner is made from some other soft material, that's how the original was made. Any good upholstery shop should be able to stitch them up for you. The rings should probably be replated to look good.
