Uxberger
Hello: I would love to know the make, model and year of this car. That is my Great Grand Father and mother in the front seat. i don't know if they owned the car or if this is a posed shot at an automobile show. He did own autos and travelled from Ottawa Canada to Victoria BC in 1928, but this is long before that. Thanks for your help!
nzcarnerd
The car looks to date from circa 1906.
keiser31
Could be a 1906 Winton.... Edited March 8, 2020 by keiser31 (see edit history)
gossp
With the enclosed step for rear entry and more conventional horns for the front springs, I would call it an 07, but agree on Winton.
nzcarnerd
The style of the front spring hanger on the 'new' car is much like the rear hanger visible in the mystery photo. The mystery car looks as if it might have chain drive where the '06 Winton pictured looks as if it does not.
gossp
Winton kept the hanger style on the rear past 06. From the standard catalog.
nzcarnerd
Not sure if this will show but our mystery car has the 'newer' style front hangers like the car in The Standard Catalog pic.
