handmedownreatta
has anyone gutted the cassette player down to the circuit boards to conceal in the console so their aux input would keep working?when my battery goes dead after not driving it for four days i have to plug in the cassette player to turn back on my aux input. DAVES89
Here is what I did. I leave the power to the Cassette Deck in place, but disconnect the speaker. I remove the speaker [female] plug from the cassette deck and wire that into a what I call an MP 3 lead. The car still thinks it's running the cassette deck but really it is allowing the MP 3 player [or smart phone] to send the tunes to the speakers. D-a-n-i-e-l
The cassette player only has to be plugged in once if battery power is lost. I have went as far as having the cassette player controls controlling a slim DVD player.
