Dan Tarasick
Hey folks . I have a 1942 Chrysler Royal three window business coupe. I have an opportunity to purchase a 1941 three window coupe as a donor car for my body to go on its drivetrain. I've got information that states the 41 was not the same body mounts but the 42 to 48 were all seasons the same. Could someone tell me if this statement is true. Would I be wasting my time buying this as a donor car?
c49er
The Hollander book shows 1941 to 1942 cpe frames are a different part number. It also shows the frames are the same part # 1942-48 Not sure whats the difference in the body's.
CarlLaFong
Not sure what your ultimate goal is. What is wrong with the 42 frame? Is it rotted out or bent or butchered,?
