B Jake Moran Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 That's a tough one. Certainly a cool project. I always liked this 1940 coupe body style. In it's final year I believe. I can't tell if it is a Super or Roadmaster. Former President Pat Brooks brought a Super to the Dallas (Plano) National meet . I always thought I would want a Roadmaster for - well - it's a Roadmaster. But with the exhaust manifold issues, and the perfect size of the smaller 8, I think a Super would be my choice. In Chevy iteration, I see a lot of these at Goodguys. Chevy's looked similar to Buicks in 1940. I also thought "The Old Guy" had a 1940 Buick street rod.
