Cal1888
Looking to get some information on the exact models this front bumper came off of. Literally a barn find on property that I bought recently (see hay in the bracket). I’m a huge car enthusiast but this is a bit before my era. Brackets read “DOD 23 R & L.” Is it safe to surmise it’s off of a 1923 Dodge Brothers Sedan?
72caddy
Most bumpers in this era were aftermarket items. The mounting brackets look correct for the period (attaching to the front horns of the frame where the front of the spring shackle is also mounted). It look adjustable in the width of the brackets, so again probably multiple applications.
Bob Scafani
It threw me off for a time. it is upside down in the top photo. That is the rear bumper for a 1924-25 Dodge. there were other styles available. I reproduced these some 25 years ago at $125.00 each with the brackets. They are all gone now.
