lrlforfun
OK Buick People: A Le Sabre Custom with a/c. In Fresno, ya need a/c! Looks good. If the seller had a buncha wiggle room someone could knock the hair off this thing and have a fun driver. Fresno's flat as a pancake so a/c and the 340 are not gonna be a big issue. BUT.....that 340, especially with a/c and an air pump is not a good engine and due to the age and mileage it may NOT have much of a life span remaining. wildcatsrule
Wonder why there is painter's tape on the wiper arms and on the stump where an antenna used to be...?
56buickinga
Speculation on my part is to protect them from the polishing compound used when they buffed the car or to keep from catching the buffing pad on the edges of those pieces.
67Buick
The tape is there because my son washed and polished the car and put the tape on to protect the wipers. We do still have the antenna. The engine is still in really good condition. My father, the original owner, took great care of the car and mostly drove his pickup truck as his daily driver. The miles on the car is a little over 100,000. The car was and still is running great. My brothers and I took the car away from my mother when she was too frail to drive anymore. We parked it in their garage for 12 years. Recently my son checked out the car and changed all of the fluids. The car started immediately with no issues. We have parked the car again in order to sell. If there's any questions let me know!
