The tape is there because my son washed and polished the car and put the tape on to protect the wipers. We do still have the antenna. The engine is still in really good condition. My father, the original owner, took great care of the car and mostly drove his pickup truck as his daily driver. The miles on the car is a little over 100,000. The car was and still is running great. My brothers and I took the car away from my mother when she was too frail to drive anymore. We parked it in their garage for 12 years. Recently my son checked out the car and changed all of the fluids. The car started immediately with no issues. We have parked the car again in order to sell. If there's any questions let me know!
