2018 Buick Race day-Lebanon Valley, NY

Well,  two things here.  Since this was my first time ever at the drag races, I did not think to record the race results.  Maybe they are available somewhere else.

Also, I shot these photos from my cell phone, from quite a distance away, so the image quality is not quite what I would have liked.  I just hope it gives a flavor for the fun that day.

 

As far as I can count, there were 18 Buick powered racers, including the dragster and the Gremlin.   I hope others can fill in the missing details.  BTW, this was from the 2nd run of the day.

I did think about it Doug.  And in fact, watching these guys wind their cars up like that, and only one broke, made me question why I don't push my cars a bit harder.  But I had the Electra and I didn't have a helmet, and in the end I wasn't willing to break anything.

Borrow a helmet and it's an automatic for goodness sake, what's there to break.
