33 Rockne Fuel Pump rebuild

SENT  ONE  TO  GOULD  REBUILDERS  A  COUPLE  MONTHS  AGO.  TOOK  A  COUPLE  WEEKS  AND  THE  PRICE  WAS  ABOUT  $125.00.  GOOD  JOB.          DB.

Dave Thibeault (T-bow) did mine the same time he did the carb.  It didn't really need it but I figured with the ethanol in gasoline these days why take a chance and, since the carb was already out, access to the pump was a breeze.

I just rebuilding a display/ spare 33 Rockne Engine. 

Long Block, Head, Dizzy, NOS Carb, Waterpump, Generator, Starter, wiring and Spark plugs are alredy here, missing a nice Fuel pump ;)

Then & Now Automotive (a.k.a. Antique Auto Parts Cellar) has rebuilding kits for fuel pumps. Not sure about your '33 Rockne, but they have them for my '33 Plymouth.

 

A fuel pump of that era is pretty easy to rebuild as long as the die cast housing pieces are in reasonable shape.
