sligermachine
the threads look good but it definitely needs to get new plating and some touch-up work . ?? this will look grate on my Buick . Any good recommendations??-Kyle
Curti
My suggestion is to get the plating stripped. Then you sit down with your Dremel and start grinding out all of the undesired imperfections. I know a guy that does this king of work, but you better be sitting down when you get the bill.
dibarlaw
Kyle: This radiator goddess is for your 1927-47 sedan. My friend who has the 2 1927 Sport Roadsters is trying to get a reproduction for one of his cars from a place in Australia. The cost of the repro was much less than getting his original restored. The 1925s had a plain cap or a plain "dumbbell" cap with a moto meter. Although these Goddess caps look great on these cars my friend never leaves his car unattended without taking the cap with him. The photo above is of his "old" 1927 Sport Roadster with the goddess cap. In the back round is my 1925 Standard with the "dumbbell" type cap. The much more ornate 1925 accessory cap is shown on this period photo of a 1925 -55 Sport touring.

Mark Shaw
Kyle, I have a Buick Moto Meter that would work great for your cars. You just need the "dog bone" that fits your filler neck.
