A Chevrolet - but which model?

This one is a mystery to me. Obviously not a 490 as it has semi elliptic front springs. Not a V8 as it doesn't look big enough and doesn't have the body curve over the rear of the front seat. Must be one of the F series - maybe? But - on all of the FB pics I have found the windshield has a curved lower edge. Maybe an early FA? Or a transition model from the baby grand to the F series?

I have been google searsing a couple of houers without finding the right model,it looks to be anything between 490-F5 and D5 V8., 1916-1918 it has  6 wheelbolts, fenders like 490,splash pan below the radiator Bayby Grand or V8,running board splash pan 490??????  But what`s written on the windshield? The front door looks rounded on bottom too?????

Yes Leif I had been there too. Cletrac tractors were sold here in NZ too - some history here - I knew of their existence but had forgotten the White family connection  -  https://www.farmcollector.com/company-history/cleveland-tractor-company

Getting back to the Chev, I guess you had the same problem i did - no sign of an FB model with a windshield that is straight across the base.

Found a story here about a later FB but our car is not one of these -  https://www.hemmings.com/magazine/hcc/2005/08/Chevrolet-s-Classic---1920-Chevrolet-FB-50-Touring/1281429.html

The V8 has external differences - particularly the body sides, but also the windshield base - plus the wheelbase is 10 inches longer than the FB. https://www.favcars.com/chevrolet-model-d-v8-touring-d5-1917-19-wallpapers-235283-640x480.htm

This site has pics which are supposed to be FB Gen one but they are of a 490  -  https://www.car.info/en-se/chevrolet/fb/1st-generation-501753 - note the short front springs and the short wheelbase.

After a lot of searching I did find this tiny picture - I am not registered for pininterest - d75e94af40b81a812d658070360b4ed9.jpg - which is a 1917 Model F and I think this is our car. Obviously a model with a very short production run and much overshadowed by the cheaper 490.
