nzcarnerd Posted December 26, 2017 Share Posted December 26, 2017 This one is a mystery to me. Obviously not a 490 as it has semi elliptic front springs. Not a V8 as it doesn't look big enough and doesn't have the body curve over the rear of the front seat. Must be one of the F series - maybe? But - on all of the FB pics I have found the windshield has a curved lower edge. Maybe an early FA? Or a transition model from the baby grand to the F series? Leif Holmberg Posted December 26, 2017 Share Posted December 26, 2017 I have been google searsing a couple of houers without finding the right model,it looks to be anything between 490-F5 and D5 V8., 1916-1918 it has 6 wheelbolts,fenders like 490,splash pan below the radiator Bayby Grand or V8,running board splash pan 490?????? Cletrac tractors were sold here in NZ too - some history here - I knew of their existence but had forgotten the White family connection - https://www.farmcollector.com/company-history/cleveland-tractor-company Getting back to the Chev, I guess you had the same problem i did - no sign of an FB model with a windshield that is straight across the base. After a lot of searching I did find this tiny picture - I am not registered for pininterest - - which is a 1917 Model F and I think this is our car.
