 The insurance on the prius would have bought a lot of gas for the suburban.  Not to mention what the prius cost.

i bought her prius for $10000. with 92000 miles on it. and getting an actual 43 mpg average. maybe in twenty years...  by then my 2012 prius will be OLD. butt by then i hope to be happily DEAD. 

 

i bought the 2012 prius from my youngest daughter. she bought a 'used' 2014 tesla s with 31000 miles on it. from a guy that brought a ludicrous 2017 tesla. so far in two months the frikin tesla has cost her $10 to ' fuel'. 

and she drives the wheels off anything she owns.
