PWB
Next task: Cowl Screen Rust. Looks like the paint sprayer missed my screen as it is the only thing with oxidation on my Riv'. There is a stainless screen available with similar cut/pattern I'd like to use and never have to worry about it again. My question is, do I have to remove the windshield? Doesn't seem so but I'd like expert advice please. Heres a Electra cowl - perfect except for the dang screen. Thanks! 60FlatTop
Not even the windshield trim. It just slides right out.
JZRIV
Just remove obvious screws and big bolts on each side in door jamb area. Biggest challenge will be removing the wiper arms without damaging paint especially if they have been on there for awhile How bad is your original? Just surface rust? Maybe hit it with rust neutralizer then prime and paint. I have glass bead blasted these in past also. Any replacement will not look same. Most wouldn't notice though. Paint satin black.
