trimacar
Have fun! Sure enjoyed those oysters (oh, and the company too!) in New Orleans last week! Glad the '54 did well....
Marty Roth
Thanks Trim, we enjoyed the company as well - sorry you were a few days too early, but now they are giving tours, and also rides on the newly restored PT305 - THREE V-12 PACKARD ENGINES - that boat will really "git-er-done" The AACA Meet here in Palm Springs looks to have several very important cars among the 120 or so registered: 1913 Stephens-Duryea 1903 Tomas Model 18 1921 Duesenberg Dual Cowl Phaeton 1930 Auburn 8-125 Conv Sedan 1942 Harley-Davidson 42WL 1942 Harley-Davidson 42WLA 1934 Pierce-Arrow 840A 1953 Nash-Healey
trimacar
Yikes on the PT boat, we went to the marina but no way to access the day we were there....oh well, will have to force myself to go back, my brother (who was a Naval officer long ago) was very interested in seeing the PT boat...... Sounds like a good meet out there! Early Duesenbergs are scarcer than the later J's, and of course a Pierce adds real class! (I'm just slightly prejudiced)
