pwdickinson
This is a close-up of a picture I posted a few days ago of a car shop in Lamar, SC, in the early 1920s. The shop sold auto parts including Federal Special Service Tires, Champion Spark Plugs, and more. Can anyone identify what the box on the right is? On one side it says "Federal" and on the other side is an outline of a keyhole(?) with a drawing of a car inside it.
Mark Simmons
My guess would be light bulbs for the autos of that time. The picture on the rear(?) of the box seems to bear that out. To me at least.
Guest
Your "keyhole" sure looks like a single filament bulb.
