Guest imported_PackardV8
See attachment. This is a push/pull 2wo terminal on/off sw. The Packard bezel fits perfectly but the stem is a bit short for the Packard knob. It comes with an ivory plastic screw on knob. I'm guessing that a .22 cal gun claning rod will screw onto to it to extend the stem enuf for the Packard knob. The pic is blurry but thats the best i could do with my limited camera. The stem is threaded at the end for the Niehoff knob. P/N is evident in pic. Despite the blurry photo i think everyone gets the idea.

Guest imported_PackardV8
you could use brass cruise o matic clutches in place of the (T-Ultra) high clutch but i belive this would create a harsh engagement problem.

Guest imported_Speedster
Here's a website with SEM spray vinyl dyes: Pretty good color selection. I called tech support about this and they said that 2 bucket seats takes about 3 cans or large dash takes 1 can and Said color change was very good, Could have brown seats and change them to white with 2 to 3 coats. Jack_Vines
Lifter number A879 are the correct ones for Packard V8s. I just spoke with a manufacturing engineer and he said, and I quote "If A812 or A937 or A976 would work as well, there would only be one part number. They are DIFFERENT parts, which is why we have to make and stock them as different numbers.

Guest Randy Berger
Brian, the box is plastered with the :BEST GASKETS" logo but no country of origin is printed anywhere. For some reason I think the factory is in Bell Gardens, Calif with a mailing address in Whittier. I don't remember why I think this - it just sticks in my mind. Jack_Vines
Hi, Randy,One cross reference I found suggested Autolite 56 instead of the Autolite 65 you recommended. Can you check your source again? Guest imported_Speedster
The sparkplug website I looked at says the # 56 is obsolete and replaced by #66. They also had #65, but they appear to be identical to #66, in every way they list. So I would go with # 66, which appears to be more available. Guest JT
Jack,The Autolite 56 is a non resistor plug and the 66 a resistor plug, that's the only difference.
Jack_Vines
FWIW, the local NAPA store had your choice of Autolite 56 or 66 on one of their phony rebate deals for $1 each. I bought two sets of 56 and they had plenty more where those came from.thnx, jv.
