NC-car-guy
1955 buick power brake booster, master cylinder, rod, reservoir, and vacuum tank. Not pretty, being sold as cores for rebuild. Had rather clean looking fluid in it when pulled, but I've not opened the unit. Asking $160 OBO. Going to eBay if it sits too long, gotta start recouping some costs, eventhough I despise eBay. NC-car-guy
Ok. So the parts looked too deplorable for most, so i did what i never do, disassembled, cleaned, sanded, and primed. The master cylinder and booster plunger move correctly, needs gaskets, but it seals well enough that air pushes out the vacuum when you actuate it. Sorry i got greasy paw prints all over it when i reassembled, but the new buyer will be rebuilding and painting I'm sure anyway. NC-car-guy
Externals: I didn't clean the filter body much because i didn't want to mess up the original plastic piece holding the filter in. Yes it's dry rotted and will need replaced, but I'll let the new owner break the 60 year old rubber seal.

Beemon
Looks like the piston is pitted... that's the worst part, but luckily they're still available.

406mac
I have a 53 Skylark that has been "upgraded" to a 1955 power brake unit at some point....do you know what the purpose is of the part attached to the air inlet on the top of the vacuum chamber....I am trying to sort out the Air Suspended vs. the Vacuum Suspended unit....Thanks....
