Maybe you could take a good sample of the nut to a machinist and see how much it would cost to make a production run of them, and you could offer the excess for sale to fellow DB'ers. I know that a machinist like George McMurtry (who makes those nice hub pullers) could make such a nut, and he is very interested in antique cars; however, I don't know if he is set up for production runs.
