I had a 28 Buick standard with a broken tip off one of the rockers when I bought it and it ran but had a miss because of the broken tip. I took the tip and rocker into AC spark plug Flint and a welder put a carbon rod in the oil hole in the rocker and welded the tip back on. I sold the car in the late 70s and the repair was still holding and ran perfectly after being overhauled, was a great engine and the weld worked perfectly, Jim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
