Part # 4160521 is supposed to be listed in the Buick Master Parts Book. Interested in what models this part fits. It would be from 1946-48 and is a handle. We need 2 of these. We appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Need a group number, or else more description of the handle--where does it go? Inside or outside, door, window, trunk lid??

It's actually a tail gate handle for a '46-'48 Hercules bodied woodie. The Hercules parts manual lists it as "serviced thru Buick Motor Division...Price shown in Buick Master Parts Book". We're hoping it was used on something other than the woodies to make our search easier. Hard to believe Buick would have had them specially made. Most other hardware such as door handles, window mechanisms, striker plates etc are straight Buick with Hercules supplying only the bodies and bracketry specific to the woodies.
