Barney Eaton
This came to me last week. It is a very interesting photo with many questions. For us Buick people the first question are there any Buicks in the group?Notice that all the people by the woody wagons are in military uniform. They all appear to be pre-war cars, Fords and Plymouths are pretty easy to identify. The ones with a split rear bumper are Chevy, Pontiac, or Olds. The big question is.......why were they all there and where was the picture taken?

Pete Phillips
What an amazing photo! What could have possibly been the occasion? Is it my imagination or are all of the people wearing military uniforms? I don't think there are any Buicks because (1) Buick didnt' put the spare tire on the outside of the tail gate like so many of these have, and (2) I think Buick used two tail lights on its early 1940s woody wagons (can someone confirm that?), and I don't see any of these with two tail lights (one on each side).
