Guest BJE
Can anyone identify the year and make of this car body? A friend of mine is preparing it to be used on a 1911 Cadillac chassis, but I am not convinced it is correct for the chassis. I can't find any photos of a 1911 Cadillac with a body like this one. keiser31
I don't think it's a Cadillac body, either.
Friartuck
Why can't this a 1911 model 30 Cadillac body? Just my $.02...

Guest BJE
Here are three different cars that are supposed to be1911 Cadillacs. None of these are like the body in question.
HarryJ
Where did he obtain the body.......if it came off a '11 Cadillac, could it be custom/one off....or early replacement?
Layden B
This body appears to be for a flat frame, I believe 1911 Cadillac is a drop frame. Also the hood former seems to be made from the same metal as the cowl, Cadillacs have a separate screwed on hoodformer.Lastly the cowl is straight back on top from the hood, all Cadillacs with a cowl appear to have a cowl that rises in height. He is about the fifth person to have done work on the car so a former owner may have put this body on it.

I have wondered if it a 1911, but the engine looks 1911.
